Snow patrol, Bob has not seen anyone to sign us up. At this time
nothing has been planned for snow patrol.
Convention, will be in Sacramento Feb 19 -21 at the Doubletree hotel.
Tony has rubicon information, he explained what he emailed out.
Feb run Uncle Toms on the 21st. Tony P will be trail boss. Meet at newcastle dennys at 8:00 AM leave at 8:30 AM

Run Report: The Turkey Run turned out to be a nice day. There was more snow on the ground than expected, but great weather and lots of good food.
News:
George is taking over selling hats for Gary. Thanks George!
Don ordered the large patches, and they are here! The cost is $20. These look great on the back of a black jacket, get one soon. Thanks for ordering these for us, Don.
We changed the date of the Christmas Party.
When: Saturday, December 19th
Time: 6pm
Where: Sherry Home
Bring a gift and participate in the gift exchange, $15 minimum. If you bring a “girly” gift, put a pink bow on it.
Bring your own drinks and a dessert or appetizer to share.
The Cal 4 Wheel Convention is in Sacramento in 2010. Watch for more information.

Meeting: October 7, 2009. 7:30p.m.
Attendance:Signal Peak. We are meeting at the Denny’s in Newcastle at 0800, pulling out at 0830. Rob is the trail boss. Please bring your work gloves and tools. Tools needed are: clippers/trimmers, breaker bars, shovel and chain saw.
Rob met with the Ranger at Signal Peak, as well as the owner of the cell tower that sits on our trail. The Ranger said that the cell tower owner is responsible for some maintenance on our trial. He will be taking a backhoe up there to do some maintenance. Rob asked him to move the rocks back when he is done. The Ranger asked us to make sure we clear any waterways of debris to prevent further damage.
November is just around the corner, which means the Turkey Run! We have chosen Saturday, Nov 14th. We will be going to the same place as we did last year, more info to follow. A potluck sign-up list will be emailed out the beginning of November.
Bob is ordering t-shirts and sweatshirts. Please let him know if you want to order anything.
Don is looking into ordering more large club patches for the back of our jackets. Also, Don sent out a link for a good deal on jackets. If interested, order ASAP to get the sale price.
George is checking on getting us an order of car stickers.
Lacie is updating the roster; please let her know if you have any updates. The new roster will be posted January 2010.

SEPTEMBER NEWS
Meeting: September 2, 2009. 7:30p.m.

Treasurer Report: $1177.55
Run Report:Bob, Don, and George went to Fordyce. The water crossings were really full and everyone had to use their winch to get across. George broke a u-joint. The pictures have been posted to the website.
The Lamberts and Stuarts went to Strawberry Pass. Rose was the trail bossy and drove the whole trail. During the middle of the night, it started pouring rain. It hadn’t let up by morning, so they jumped in the Cherokee and drove down to Kirkwood for a dry-warm breakfast. On the way home, they stopped to get gas and Jeff and Stuart ended up changing a tire on a camp trailer for one family and helped a different lady with an “almost” flat tire. The pictures have been posted on the website.

This month’s run is to Barrett Lake, 19-20 September. Tony is the trail boss. Meet at the McDonald’s on Hazel at 0630 pulling out at 0700 sharp. Bring spare parts and plenty of tools, good luck guys!

· Bob: Bring the book with jacket options to the next meeting
· Lacie: Research jacket options, update Google groups, update roster and finish new member packets
· Gary: Quote for jackets and embroidery
· Rob: Check on small stickers
At the October meeting we will be making a decision to get our new club jackets ordered. We would like to receive them before the winter sets in. Also, we will be putting together a t-shirt and sweatshirt order.Please be prepared to place an order for a jacket and or shirt, if you want one.
